  1. I would like to nominate Belinda who started the Aotearoa NZ Breast Cancer group on Facebook – the group has been so incredibly beneficial to so many of us through support and sharing information. Belinda lives in the North Island.

    1. Thank you, Chloe! Belinda has encouraged many people through setting up the FB group. Having others to talk with who have gone through similar circumstances is so helpful.

I really admire my husband Adam after what he’s been through, he took it all with no complaints. Just his positivity and him being a real trooper through his whole treatment has been amazing. Staying positive for a September CT Scan coming up hoping there’s nothing on his lung!!

    1. Thank you for sharing, Deborah. Though I’m sure it hasn’t been easy for you, I’m sure Adam’s been thankful to have you there to support him and encourage him through it, knowing he’s not alone in this….

  4. I admire my Mum Janis who has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. I admire the way she trusts in the lord, continuing to walk with joyfully. Her ability to focus on one day/step at a time rather than the big journey ahead. I have been encouraged that she continues to thank her saviour Jesus through it all.

    1. Our Charlie’s Angel Atesep. A friend, mum, wife, volunteer extraordinaire, constantly putting everyone else’s needs ahead of her own. She epitomises Ephesians 2:10 “we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” ?

  5. I’m thankful for my friend Tracy in Peru with ovarian cancer—her graciousness and thankfulness while undergoing treatments and away from her family.
