Aletheia sizing is thoughtfully created to reflect a beautiful proportion, particularly catered for the pear-shaped woman. If further customisation is needed, garments can be made to your measurements–it’s what Aletheia Apparel is all about!

Measuring for your best fit:

While measuring, the tape should be parallel to the floor all the way around.
Pull the tape firm but without cinching in at the body.

Upper Bust: Measure around your body above the bust and under the arms. Measure without a bra, over skin. This is the best measurement for dresses and tops.

Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your bust. Measure with the type of bra you intend to wear under the garment.

Natural Waist: This is the narrowest part of your torso. Note – this will not necessarily be where the waistline of your garment will sit.

Lower Waist: Measure around the fullest part of your tummy.

Hip/Seat: Place tape at the fullest part of your hips with feet together. This is the best measurement for skirts and pants.

Comfortable and easy to wear, Katrina Overalls reflect the woman they were named after.

With straps that transition to narrow ties, there are a variety of options for wearing – tie in the front, in the back, or even at the sides. Whether in full length with heels, or in cropped length with some runners, the Katrina Overalls are a wardrobe win. After checkout, an in-studio or video session will be scheduled to discuss design elements, fabric options, and to aid in proper measurements for your bespoke garment.
Square or slightly curved neck bib front with variable ties for waist shaping.
Front waistband, curved front patch pockets, back pockets, and straps that transition to narrower ties that thread through the back waist belt loops to form back waist gathers. The ties may be tied at the back, front or sides.
Inseam: Wide leg – approx. 77cm; Cropped leg – approx. 63cm
These overalls are made using a Sew House Seven pattern. Used by permission.

To ensure the longevity of your garment, wash by hand in cold water with a mild detergent. If hand washing is not an option, the delicate cycle on your machine is preferred. Line dry out of direct sunlight. Steam iron on warm setting. Air the garment between wearing to extend the life between washes.
