Aletheia Apparel - Size Chart

Measuring for your best fit:

  • While measuring, the tape should be parallel to the floor all the way around.
  • Pull the tape firm but without cinching in at the body.

Upper Bust: Measure around your body above the bust and under the arms. Measure without a bra, over skin.

Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your bust. Measure with the type of bra you intend to wear under the garment.

Natural Waist: This is the narrowest part of your torso. Note – this will not necessarily be where the waistline of your garment will sit.

Hip/Seat: Place tape at the fullest part of your hips with feet together.

Fitting tips:

  • For dresses, tops, and accessories: choose the size that goes with your upper bust
  • For pants & skirts: choose the size that goes with your hips

If your bust, waist, or hips are 2 or more sizes different than your suggested size, or if you typically struggle to find ready-made garments that fit well, then having your garment customised is highly suggested–customising is what Aletheia Apparel is all about!

Accomodating sizes outside our size range is also part of our customisation process.

Choose your favourite sleeve version for a year round work to weekend wardrobe essential–maybe the 3/4 sleeve to the office in the morning and then with jeans for a cruise-y evening? Enjoy the cowl neck  to draw attention to the shoulders and face or choose the crew neck for a lengthening look. This top can also be made maternity friendly! Models are wearing the Jess Jumper with the Janis Skirt, the Kirsty Skirt, as well as in their favourite jean styles.

  • Price does not include fabric.
  • Suitable for knit fabrics only. Not suitable for woven fabric.
  • After checkout, an in-studio or video session will be scheduled to discuss design elements, fabric options, and to aid in proper measurements for your bespoke garment.

To ensure the longevity of your garment, wash by hand in cold water with a mild detergent. If hand washing is not an option, the delicate cycle on your machine is preferred. Line dry out of direct sunlight. Steam iron on wool setting. Air the garment between wearing to extend the life between washes.
