Slow fashion encourages slower production, unifies sustainability with ethics, and ultimately invites consumers to invest in well-made and lasting clothes. Creating the wardrobe you love provides Aletheia Apparel the opportunity and privilege in participating in the Slow Fashion Movement. Garments in the shop are chosen based on quality, style, and versatility. ReFashion pieces are unique, one-off pieces created from recycled fibres.

As part of the goal to do good, Aletheia strives to provide sustainable fashion. Utilising fabric scraps from garment off-cuts, an exclusive fashion-designed hat is given to the New Zealand Cancer Society with every purchase made.* The design provides both discreet coverage as well as fullness to draw attention to the true beauty of the wearer. Improving quality for women suffering from chemotherapy and utilising resources go hand-in-hand.

Cooperative Effort

Working together to create your wardrobe is foundational for Aletheia. You pick the design elements, choose your fabrics, and provide your size or measurements. Your garments are then specially made to your needs and specifications. Aletheia then stands behind the label---repairs^ are done for you so that you can continue to wear your garment for years to come.
